Baguio, here I come

I was soo excited to finally visit Baguio again after 10 years ( wait, more like 4 yrs to be exact) that instead of hitting the gym, I shopped instead. waaahhh. I bought a shirt (can't help it! It's too cute to pass up!) and some necessities for our trip. Oh btw, I bought some lesofat too! It's a bit cheaper than xenical. I bought 'em cause I ate some calorific foods from Mcdo :( baaadd..

Besides losing weight, one of my passions in life is FASHION - designer bags to be exact. I know I can't afford them right now but I l really know how to appreciate them. Oooohh the smell itself can make me skip lunch and full my stomach with glee. ****hmmmm***

So why all of a su dden a bag talk interceded this blog? Well, we'll be going to the mothership of allo ukays and I'm hoping to score some goodies for myself tomorrow! I'll be a great form of cardio - searching for the "perfect awesome bag" :)

Gudluck to me!

Gym

I went to the gym last night and met former classmates :) It's so much fun sweating you are not alone in this battle. Though we have different fitness goals (they're soo skinny that they'd like to bulk up!) it's fun keeping up with them while doing dumb bell curls and squats. I wish to meet them more frequently. But dare I say this:  it isn't so bad going to the gym alone without my bff. She's to mapanlait to begin with. Like whenever we see that weird girl with a flower hat while doing aero, she'd mock her constantly. Yes, she's weird but we're entitled to be ourselves and not to conform with the norm right? Haha. I just feel that she's really a frenemy instead of a BFF. more on that later,

Here's Your Customized Weight Loss Plan:
Based on your answers, here's my triple-threat plan for you. My online program makes weight-loss simple, with real solutions for people who want to lose weight and keep it off.

Sweat

You're Proportionate — you can lose all over!

SweatSince you're one of the lucky few who distribute fat cells equally throughout your body, you probably gain and lose weight evenly. It can take a longer time to target certain areas — but it pays off.

That's where I come in. I have exercises that will get you results. My personalized program will help you shed weight all over. But you got to get a grip — you can only win against genetics up to a certain point. Once you understand this, you can let go of unreachable goals and replace them with real ones.

I'll create your personalized exercise program based on the days you prefer to work out, the goals you set for yourself, and the exercises you enjoy. After all, if you enjoy your workout, it's easier to stick to.

I'll encourage you to:

Have fun aerobic dancing! Depending on intensity, you could burn 500 calories an hour.

Use the elliptical trainer. This machine is great because it’s easy on your joints and it allows you to focus on different muscles. Maximize your session by using the movable handles.

Enjoy rowing. This is a great change of pace. You can tone your back, biceps, and quads, all while working your cardio system.

Ready to start my diet and start losing weight?

Sweat

You're a balanced oxidizer.

Because you crave fruit and bread as well as salty foods, cheeses, and meats, you may be a balanced oxidizer. This is the fancy term for your metabolic rate. It simply means that you need equal proportions of protein, carbs, and fat to process the nutrients in your food optimally, and to produce and use the resulting energy. Lucky you — your diet is the easiest to follow! You feel your best on a diet that incorporates a wide range of foods, and your ideal macronutrient ratio is 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat.

But the bottom line is, you have to burn more calories than you take in. That's it. And to really do this successfully, you have to eat the ideal diet for your body and metabolism. Believe me — I've struggled with this myself. And I've done a lot of research and work to figure out my ideal diet. And now I want to share my findings with you. I have recipes and snacks that will help you eat better for your body type. And I have secrets and tricks to make it easier. (I didn't say "easy.")

My 7 steps to behavioral modification

Lots of so-called "experts" talk about willpower. Well, I say screw willpower — there's no such thing! Sure, we all have fleeting moments of bravado. But that virtue comes and goes. I'm going to teach you some basic techniques to change your habits and program yourself against failure!

You are going to have to do the work, though. I don't want to hear that you don't have the time. If that's your excuse, then get back to me when you're ready. I'll be here.

Ready? Okay, good. Let's make some changes together:

1. Avoid dangerous situations. STOP driving by the doughnut shop on your way to work. When you go out to dinner, ask the waiter not to bring bread to your table.

2. Get a hobby. Start taking your dog on longer walks. Fix up your attic. By focusing on positive activities, you'll find yourself becoming more relaxed, happier, and thinner!

3. Curb mindless eating. Don't eat while standing up, and don't skip meals. Brush your teeth after every meal and snack. Food never seems as appealing when you have that toothpaste taste in your mouth.

ACV (apple cider vinegar)

A friend gave me a bottle of  ACV after deciding that's it's too gross to drink. :P
It claims to help you lose weight by making you feel fuller... faster. There are countless sites and forums that claim this so no-diet-diet! We'll see about that!

Well, it's YUCKY. It's like acid straight from a bottle. I don't even have words to explain the grossness (wtf!) of this stupid, stupid diet myth. I'll still give this a shot and when I've had enough
I'll use this as a salad dressing instead...hmm....

new blog... new hopes!

For the past couple of weeks, I've been dragging myself to the gym as frequent as I can.
Yep, I'm on again for the battle of le bulge. This time around, it's for good. :)

My reasons for losing weight:
* To look better ( I really want to wear all my good finds. But sadly, I bought I'll get thinner soon...talk about wishful thinking!)
* Be healthier and free from sickness ( need I saw more?)
* To gain confidence (I really don't know how to deal with guys because :( LOSER!)
* NO MORE SELF PITTY!
* Hopefully, to be a better person overall. (I have this feeling that my dreams are being hampered because of my weight.)

My motivation:
* Be able to wear a B.I.K.I.N.I --- clique but true!

whuwawww!!! someday!!!!

* Save money by being able to fully utilize my wardrobe. I think I have more clothes that I don't wear than the one's that I do!
* CONFIDENCE!!!!
